When you book a seat for Loveland Ski Area, you must note the time designated during the booking process. This is the time we DEPART from either Union Station or Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, so be sure to arrive a few minutes before so you don't miss the bus. Since we have other passengers waiting, we must leave on time and if you are not there, we will not wait.
Where exactly is the downtown pickup? We pick up right in front of the Old Union Station at 17th and Wynkoop Street, near many hotels downtown such as Magnolia, Hyatt, Marriott, Crawford Hotel and Sheraton to name a few.
For the pickup at the Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, take I-70 to exit 259 for Morrison, and head to the lot at the top of the hill by the Conoco gas station. Our pickup is at the "DD" section of the parking lot, right across from the gas station. *Parking is first come first served! The lot does sometimes fill up on busy weekends, and there are no other parking options if the lot is full.
Travel times to Loveland vary, and are heavily dependent on traffic and weather conditions. We typically arrive at Loveland between 8:30 and 9:00am, but this may be later due to adverse weather or very heavy traffic.
Where do we drop off? We drop off at the main base of Loveland Basin. If you are taking ski lessons and would like to access Loveland Valley, which is where beginner terrain and lessons are, you can hop a Loveland shuttle bus, which operate all day every few minutes and pick up right where we drop you off.
We depart in the afternoon at 3:30pm at the same place we dropped off in the morning. Once again, travel times are dependent on traffic and weather, anyone who's been on I-70 understands :). During the week, we typically get back early, but on the weekends, please allow for more time to get back due to traffic. If you spent the day at Loveland Valley down the road, please allow enough time to catch the shuttle back to the main area where we dropped off, to catch your ride back.
